Call for Proposals : PNPM Peduli Managing Partner Opportunity (Grant)
Seeking Grant Applications:
PNPM Peduli II - Managing Partner
PNPM Peduli is the Government of Indonesia's new social inclusion
program targeting excluded individuals and groups that have not been
reached by the main PNPM Mandiri program or by other government programs
(social protection, poverty programs etc). PNPM Peduli receives
strategic oversight from the Ministry of People's Welfare (Menko Kesra)
and is implemented through partnerships with national and local CSOs.
These organizations currently receive grants (from the PSF) to support
their activities working with marginalized groups as well as targeted
organizational capacity support.
In the pilot phase (July 2011 - June 2013), PNPM Peduli partnered with
72 Indonesian CSOs working in 91 districts in 24 provinces reaching
13,000 individuals. The pilot phase finishes in the coming month and we
are in the process of preparing for Phase II in 2013.
In Phase II a grant will be awarded to an organization to act as the
Managing Partner (MP) working closely with the PSF to facilitate and
support the implementation of PNPM Peduli Phase II. It is envisaged
that the MP will provide a high level of program management and
technical expertise through national personnel (and international
experts where appropriate) to ensure quality program implementation and
accountabilities. This includes grants management, CSO capacity
building, gender mainstreaming, complaints handling, monitoring and
evaluation, donors and Government reporting, knowledge management and
communications.
Applications from interested organizations are now open. The submission deadline is Thursday 15 August 2013.
