Objective
Universitas Siswa Bangsa International (USBI) is developing short courses to serve primary and secondary school teachers in Indonesia, as well as school leaders.These course are designed to increase leadership capacity and improve learning and teaching environments. Students were admitted for the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 academic years;however, the program was temporarily suspended for program development and will be re-launched in September 2013. Two short course programs will be offered: (1) the Teacher Education Program (TEP) and (2) Education Leadership and Management (ELM). The TEP is designed as an intensive one-year study program that will also be offered on a modular basis to provide more choice to participants who wish only to enroll in individual modules. ELM seeks
to enrich educators with competencies and skills to become more effective leaders in their schools. In conjunction with Massey University in New Zealand, this course aims to create positive, long-lasting change in Indonesian schools. Those who successfully complete short course modules are intended to be eligible for college credit toward a graduate degree in education USBI’s Faculty of Education. USBI and the ISDCO seek to recruit a consultant who will work with the ISDCO team as the primary marketer and administrator for ELM and TEP and who will can also work closely with faculty members of the Faculty of Education.

Scope of Work
- Create marketing collateral; promote short courses through digital media, print materials and school visits; review the strategy for the marketing of short courses; conduct participant outreach
- Engange potential implementing partners from within the Sampoerna Educational Ecosystem and externally
- Coordinate and manage the administration, budget, and reporting for short courses.
- Write short course progress/impact reports and develop improved strategy for 2014 short course implementation
Selection Criteria
- Degree in Marketing, Education, Communications, or Business (preferably Master Degree)
- Background in program administration and promotion
- Marketing experience and wide networks ineducation
- Experience with teacher education
- Ability to identify program/product strength and weakness; to analyze the visibility of programs, and to map out program markets
- Ability to work with a very dynamic, international team in a target-oriented atmosphere Length of Assignment3 times a week starting June - September (4 month) & possible extension
Salary Rp. 5.000.000,- nett
