PT. Fresh Dynamics Indonesia is now looking for an Agriculture Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Veg IMPACT program (1 fte) (full time, male / female, Indonesian nationality)
Tasks of the M&E officer:
Tasks of the M&E officer:
- Collecting extensive baseline data among 10,000 farmers (using a short structured survey) in different areas over the period of 2 years
- To answer possible questions from farmers related to the survey
- Annual monitoring of project progress by collecting specific data among a sample group of farmers that joined the project (using an extended structured survey, with mainly MC questions)
- Processing collected data of both baseline and annual monitoring survey (from hard copy to soft copy using excel and SPSS software)
- Filling and maintaining the database
- Train and coordinate local teams of students to do the survey activities in the field
Requested Expertise M&E officer:
- Degree in agribusiness, agronomy or equivalent level and background
- 1-2 years of experience in working/communicating with farmers, enthusiastic fresh graduates are also requested to apply.
- Some knowledge and experience with data collection in rural areas using surveys (training will also be provided)
Required Skills M&E officer :
- Knowledge and experience in implementing surveys
- Good communication skills in English and bahasa Indonesia (both written and verbally)
- Strong computer and data handling skills
- Reporting skills
Other relevant information about this Fresh Dynamics Indonesia / Veg-IMPACT position
- Duty Station: Jakarta with frequent travel within Indonesia (50% travel)
- You work under the responsibility of the senior supply chain facilitator in Jakarta and the ME specialist from the Netherlands
- Incidentally long and irregular working / travel days and work in the weekends can be requested.
- Fresh Dynamics Asia offers a one year contract with possibilities for extension.

The vegIMPACT program builds on the results of previous Indonesian-Dutch horticultural development projects as well as farmers’ training. Tangible results of these projects were: increased profitability of vegetable production at farmer’s level, improved product quality, better food safety and less emission of agro-chemicals. For this new program extensive Monitoring & Evaluation activities will be implemented to measure the results of the program with the different stakeholders (mainly farmers).
