SurfAid International is a nonprofit organization working for healthy andresilient communities in remote areas connected to us through surfing. Withthe head office in Medan, the community programs are mainly run in Mentawaiand Nias. SurfAid works closely with the communities and government toimprove communities' capacity on emergency preparedness and their ability torespond to health issues, including water and sanitation.

SurfAid International is currently looking for Monitoring & Evaluation Officer for Nias and Malaria Training Design Consultant for Mentawai.


MONITORING & EVALUATION OFFICER based in Nias, North Sumatera.The position will be responsible for developing and implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems for the delivery of the SurfAid International’s Community Based Health program in partner communities in Nias.

Minimum requirements:

• Minimal 3 years working-experience in Monitoring & Evaluation area, preferably in NGO working with health or behavior change issues
• Relevant background in Public Health, Psychology, Statistics, Management, etc,
• Good analytical skills
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, spoken and written
• Computer skills in database, and other relevant software office applications will be an advantage.

CONSULTANT FOR MALARIA TRAINING MODULE DESIGNER
Providing service to Program Manager Mentawai to prepare Malaria Training Modules for cadres in PosMalDes. The module’s content will be on malaria, its symptom, prevention and
vector controls. The assignment is expected to be finalized in 1 (one) month period. The consultant will work remotely and communicate from distant with Program Manager.

Requirements:
Good understanding with malaria issues
Previous experience in Health or Malaria related issues as Module Designer
Familiar with creative adult learning approach/techniques in trainings

Previous experience as trainer forcadres or government officers will be an advantage
