Communications Coordinator
The Australia Indonesia Justice Partnership (AIPJ) is looking for a Communication Coordinator to help produce and manage our internal and external communications.
They will be supported and guided by the SeniorCommunications Adviser, and will work closely with AIPJ team members.
The responsibilities of the Communication Coordinator are as follows:

The Australia Indonesia Justice Partnership (AIPJ) is looking for a Communication Coordinator to help produce and manage our internal and external communications.
They will be supported and guided by the SeniorCommunications Adviser, and will work closely with AIPJ team members.
The responsibilities of the Communication Coordinator are as follows:
- Coordinate the implementation of the Communications Strategy.
- Together with the Communication Adviser, provide advice and share ideas on activities relating to program communication.
- Bring advice, conduct training, and provide information to the technical teams in order to maintain standard of AIPJ communication and branding.
- Writing and editing AIPJ communication materials esp newsletter articles and website content.
- Identify stories for AIPJ’s different audiences both domestic and international.
- On going maintenance of the website including content, navigation, look and feel; develop social media tools for online visibility and audience outreach; and liaise with external technical suppliers to improve the site and solve problems.
- Coordinate the production of communication products including newsletters, merchandise or events, liaising with external designers, writers, and printing companies.
- Develop and maintain systems for the Communications Unit and ensure AusAID clearance protocols are followed.
- Liaise with AusAID Public Affairs unit for media-related activities.
- Supporthigh level visits and other related program events, when required.
Selection Criteria
Essential:
Essential:
- Website management and content development experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English, including drafting media and promotional materials.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a small team and provide sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
- University qualifications in communications, public relations or journalism.
Desirable:
- Experience in an international donor organisation.
- Understanding of the law and justice sector.
