Overview: The Analysts/Associate will lead and support assignments across various Domains. He/she will also assist with the development of the research agenda/studies, and training curriculum on the areas of microfinance, e/m-banking and/or value chain for Indonesia. He/she will spend approximately:
- 40% of the time in ARP/Client or other offices
- 40% of the time in the field
- 20% time in MicroSave office
Responsibilities:
- Lead or assist with the planning and implementation of technical assistance assignments (with the Specialists/Senior Analysts)
- Assist with the development and submission of proposals to generate business – particularly for the Practice Group(s) of which he/she is a member (with Specialists/Senior Analysts)
- Active participation in delivery of training courses, research activities, curriculum development and the provision of technical assistance to clients on "as needed" basis
- Contribute to the development of MicroSave's toolkits and other publications
- Conduct peer reviews of reports/documents
- Conduct "Quality of Delivery" assessments on the final day of each assignment
Qualifications:
- Master level degree (or higher) in Banking/Business administration/Agriculture/ Accounting
- At least 1-5 years experiences in Banking or Microfinance
- Demonstrated understanding of Indonesia and/or Asia financial market
- Experience with the delivery of technical assistance programmes
- Computer literate in MS Word and Excel, and a working knowledge of email and internet systems
- A strong field orientation and proven inter personal skills
• Good spoken and written English
